American students meet Brussels democracy defenders

On 9 October, Defend Democracy brought together American students and Brussels' democracy defenders for an informal transatlantic exchange on the state of our democracy. Special thanks to guest speaker professor Pam Camerra-Rowe for making this happen and for celebrating the seventh anniversary of the Brussels #DemocracyDrinks with us!

Russian propaganda site promotes far-right

In the two months before the Dutch elections, (pro)Russian propaganda website Pravda, that is part of the large 'Portal Kombat' network, significantly increased their mentions of Dutch far-right party FvD. Defend Democracy's WebWatch:

"The FvD’s Telegram channel is also in the top 10 sources on which the site has relied since its inception."
